What is a Death Doula?

A Death Doula is someone who assists a family or a person going through grief due to the passing of a loved one. The Death Doula prepares the process for a dying loved one or a recently passed loved one to be less stressful.

Do I have to be religious or be tied to a religion to use this service?

No. TTM is not geared towards a religion but if a person requests religious practices, they are able to incorporate them into the service.

Can I purchase a Death Doula for someone else?

Yes you can. You can buy a gift card here and it will be based on the donation tier you selected. Once purchased, you need to make sure you book a Death Doula Interview to address the needs of the person who will be receiving the service.

Is this for animals too?

Yes. The Death Doula works with families who have lost animals.

What Egyptian practices does The Death Doula speak of?

The Death Doula can talk to you about the significance of mummification from the perspective of Ancient Egypt. It was known as a means of keeping the body intact so it can help the soul transport to a spiritual afterlife. This process can also be seen as just a metaphor of keeping one‘s soul wrapped and cleansed and seen as a sacred rite of passage.

At Time To Mummify Health, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our patients, especially women. We believe in a holistic approach to healthcare. Women have the ability to control their bodies and make choices with their body, that align with their lifestyle. If a mother decides to have an ABORNtion, they should have care surrounding that decision. We support women who decide to have one when the fetus is under 10 weeks old. It is considered at this state that the soul is not binded to the body yet and makes it spiritually legal to abort before it does become binded to the body. Whether if a woman has been sexually assaulted directly or indirectly, or the fetus is diagnosed as unviable, we believe these are actionable reasons to have an abortion. ABORNtion is spelled specifically this way because we believe women should be reBORN and empowered after an unfortunate decision to have to make this their reality.
